United for Public Education is a coalition of students, teachers, parents, tradespeople and professionals who represent every level of education in BC.  We have come together to raise awareness about and take action against the chronic underfunding of public education in BC.

From Preschool to PHD, proper funding at all levels is essential for a healthy society and a strong economy.

Our Vision:

We envision a British Columbia that has the highest levels of funding in Canada for a public education system that provides the bedrock foundation for a healthy, prosperous and democratic society and economy.

Our Mission:

We bring together students, teachers, parents, tradespeople and professionals to demand that the Government of British Columbia dedicate itself to publicly funded, managed and delivered education and make major increases in funding from Preschool to PHD.

Get Involved

If your values align with UPE and you would like to become involved, we offer two choices of membership: organizing member or supporting member. Organizing members hold voting rights at monthly meetings, provide resources, and carry out the day-to-day work of promoting the campaign. Supporting members offer their feedback, support and resources as they are able and connect their membership to the campaign.
